Cape Vantage is conceived as a high quality residential mixed-use resort development on the East Side of Gibraltar. A rich mix of uses will create a vibrant new residential community supported by cultural, leisure and retail facilities linked by a sequence of landscaped public squares and plazas. Cape Vantage will set a new benchmark for development quality in a location known throughout the world for its fusion of history, geography and topography.
The proposed masterplan will comprise approximately 300,000 m² of residential space creating over 2,500 apartments. In addition to the 21,000 m² hotel, 25,000 m² of retail and 20,000 m² of commercial accommodation will establish Cape Vantage as a diverse and high quality Mediterranean resort destination.
The development will include a number of distinct buildings and areas featuring integrated open spaces, landscaping and car parking within and beneath the buildings. Precincts within the development will provide individual identity, activity and will capture vistas towards the sea.
As one of the most densely populated territories in the world, Gibraltar has met growing demand for space via land reclamation. Around 10% of Gibraltar is reclaimed land. Cape Vantage will adopt this technique and create a new coastline for the territory.
